The daughter and I were sightseeing in this cute little college town when we came for my nephew's wedding. We had some time to kill before our flight from Philly so we decided to walk around the downtown area as it looked really cute when we'd driven past it a couple of times. As we walked we stopped at Peace A Pizza and had a slice. Mine was FANTASTIC - fresh local mushrooms on a whole wheat crust. Nice and thin and foldable is was a perfect lunch. The staff was very pleasant as well and the dining area was nice and clean. It also had a great view out onto Gay St. and that was fun.

Pizza is good and served at a temp you can immediately eat. If you like crazy hot tell them or you'll be disappointed.

Peace of pizza isn't even worth the time of writing all the wrong that happened with my simple order. Counter girl was nice and polite and manager tried to fix things after he came back in from wherever he was hiding after asking for him for over 15 min but besides that I was helping his other customers

It's your standard college town pizza joint. Not bad for post bar hopping eats, but I would not recommend it for "dining out".

I REALLY want to like this pizza joint. REALLY I do. But even on a slow, 4th of July day, when the restaurant consisted of me, a friend and the rasta-headed pizza dude working the counter, the store was filthy. It had obviously not been swept or cleaned-up from the previous day, the employee was friendly but oblivious to how grungy the dining area was. Dirty tables with straw wrappers, pieces of crust and crumbs. And this was more than one table. We paused over two or three tables before getting one that was somewhat free of the previous diner's food residue. Pizza was your basic pizza joint pizza; nothing toxic or horrible tasting though a bit stale. I got the strong impression the pizzas were made the day or night before since it was obviously a slow day and there was NO WAY the employee had made the 6 or so pies sitting in the display from which you pick your slice from. Old pizza? That's an unpardonable sin in the realm of real pie shops. Yep, friendly employee, but the quality of the food and the cleanliness of the restaurant leave Peace-A-Pizza feeling like a war zone.

This is the worst pizza I have ever had in the greater Philadelphia area. Back in high school (graduated '07), I used to frequent a couple different Peace a Pizzas, and always found them of mediocre- but still satisfying- quality. I don't know if the chain has gone downhill overall, or is this is a location-specific problem- but my lunch here a few days ago has sworn me off the whole lot of them for life. Here's a story for comparison: Last week, I bought a slice of Sbarro from what was hardly more than a tiled, overcrowded and questionably-hygienic nook in the Cleveland airport. The pizza was not good, by anyone's standards. But while it was very bland, with more dough than toppings, it was far better than the slices at this Westchester Peace a Pizza. Because I finished the Sbarro slice still smiling and feeling satisfied. That "bad pizza" experience was actually totally unlike the slight queasiness, intense disappointment, and money-spending-regret I sank into immediately after downing this Peace a Pizza's wretched slices. I will admit that I might have felt a little differently if these had been dollar slices. But Peace a Pizza felt like kind of a rip-off back in HS when I liked the stuff. Charging so much for such a lack of anything appealing to all of the senses is an affront. This establishment should be ASHAMED. I'm not even sure how you manage to make pizza this bad. Surely you have to try.

I could've looked past the neon "Sorry, we're open" sign and the grating Hippie™ atmosphere if the pizza was actually good, but it's not. You can have a bajillion "lookit me, I'm wacky!" flavor combinations and toppings (mac & cheese, taco, etc etc etc) but if your -foundation- is weak then it's doomed from the start. Peace A Pizza's crusts are paper-thin and way overly crispy. It's a (small) step up from eating your pizza on Knäckebröd. Also, and honestly I couldn't tell if it was the crust or the type of basil they were using, but my slice was altogether too sweet. A shame, because they have PUNCH CARDS. I do love punch cards. 10 slices of pizza, one free. Oh well. They have other things too, strombolis and salads and such. Not bad, said the roughage-eater of the group, in response to the salad. My sad little punch card with the one hanging chad will eventually turn to dust, banished to the abyss of my purse.

Great pizza, great price. It's a great place to grab a slice with the family... The crust is seasoned, which adds some taste to the standard blend. My favorite is the standard white, or mac and cheese (or broccoli if they have it...) My favorite is actually a salad, the Granny Smith. I get it with out chicken. the pecans and blue cheese are enough for me... all in all a great place for a quick slice, with some interesting options you can't get a traditional pizzeria.

I'm a tough critic with non NJ/non NYC pizza but I love this place! The whole wheat pizza dough is delicious and the salads are awesome. Definitely worth a visit or delivery.

With so many good pizza places in the area this one doesn't measure up. It seems like they have nutmeg in their sauce or crust. The toppings, while plentiful, are not top quality (processed chicken). Not bad in a pinch but I'd rather go elsewhere
